What’s new for Apple TV in tvOS 18.3

tvOS 18.3 will introduce robot vacuum support to the Home app on the Apple TV, as evidenced by code-level references to the feature in the initial beta release. Similarly, the iOS 18.3 beta will also include robot vacuum support in the Home app for the iPhone.

Apple had planned to add at least two more screen saver categories to the Apple TV. The first category was titled “TV and Movies” and featured screen savers based on content from Apple TV+ series and movies. The second category was called “Soundscapes” and offered screen savers with relaxing background sounds, including water and nature sounds.

However, MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris has confirmed that hidden references to these “TV and Movies” and “Soundscapes” screen saver categories have been removed from the first tvOS 18.3 beta’s code.
