Yesterday, we covered how to show a new battery percentage indicator in iOS 16.  But what if your device cannot run iOS 16 and you would like a way to monitor the iPhone battery?  Feeling left out – you don’t have to be. The best part is, it’s already on your iPhone!

Here’s how to get it:

  1. Activate your iPhone.
  2. Press and hold an empty portion of the screen until the icons wiggle.
  3. Press the + button on the upper-left.
  4. Look for the battery widget in the list of widgets.
  5. Tap it.
  6. Select the widget size.
  7. Tap Done (or OK).

You now have a battery indicator on your Home Screen that’ll show you all of the devices battery percentages.
