TikTok sues U.S. Government over Ban

The social media platform TikTok has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Government for passing a bill to ban the social media platform in the United States if the owners (ByteDance Media) doesn’t sell the platform over to a U.S. based company within a given amount of time.

The Government is concerned that the social media platform is being run by a Chinese based corporation and that they are collecting personal information from U.S. Customers for future endeavors.  The U.S. Government past a bill in April which included the TikTok ban.
