Tatiana Maslany to star in Apple TV+ comedic thriller series ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’

Apple TV+ is expanding its comedy lineup with a new series featuring Tatiana Maslany. The Emmy-winning actress will lead a comedic thriller called “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed.”

The show comes from creator David J. Rosen (Apple’s Sugar, Prime Video’s Hunters), who will also serve as showrunner. David Gordon Green is set to direct and will be an executive producer.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed is described as a darkly comic thriller about a newly divorced mom (Maslany) who falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios are producing the 10-episode, half-hour series. Rosen and Green will executive produce with Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon of Genre Films, who developed the show under their first-look deal with Apple TV+, and Bard Dorros of Anonymous Content.

Maslany currently stars in horror feature The Monkey, which opened in second place at the domestic box office last week. She won an Emmy in 2016 for her multiple roles on BBC America’s Orphan Black and played the title character in Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+.
