It seems thanks to an agreement back in June between Sony’s Legacy Recordings and Prince’s estate, the late musician’s music is becoming available on Apple’s Music Service.

Most of the recordings were originally released between 1995 and 2010, which includes “The Gold Experience,” “Emancipation,” and “Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic.”

However, Sony will have to wait until 2021 to gain the United States Distribution rights for the artist’s more well known work such as “1999” and others.

Prince died of a drug overdose in 2016.  While he was alive, he strongly opposed to having his music on Internet streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
