Some Online Vendors beginning to roll out Apple Pay Support

Yesterday we reported that some online vendors were gearing up to support Apple Pay via their web sites when Mac OS Sierra became available to the public.

Today we can report that some online vendors have already “flipped the switch” on the option, even though only a handful have.

The companies that should be offering it are:

• Time, Inc. (for subscriptions)
• Sports Illustrated (for subscriptions)
• Entertainment Weekly (for subscriptions)
• Wayfair (at checkout)

Using Apple Pay via the web requires at least an iPhone 6, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or iPad mini 3. The technology will also work with macOS Sierra when it’s officially released on September 20th.
