Rumor: Apple not honoring Lion up to date program from Amazon.com

Some users who bought Macs from Amazon in the days before and after Lion’s release are receiving notification from Apple that their Lion Up-To-Date order will not be honored because it hasn’t come from an “authorized reseller” — though of course Amazon is a properly-credentialed reseller. 9to5Mac reports. It’s unclear how many users are affected, though the issue could be the result of a processing glitch.
