Like BGR, AppleScoop.com has also obtained information on how the two big companies (AT&T and Verizon) will handle the iPhone 4S rollout this Friday.
We cannot show you the memo that we got from our source due to unrelated confidential information and keeping the source unnamed on the condition of sharing this information with our readers.
Like Sprint, the other two retail stores will also open at 7:00am local time. Depending upon the number of people in a line, each person will receive a ticket with either a random number or letter. iPhone 4S’s will be given on a first come, first serve basis. This will be enforced. Security will be at each location during the morning hours, or as necessary.
Some AT&T stores (in Pennsylvania) are getting a shipment in early Wednesday morning to be given out to customers who reserved their iPhones for in-store pickup. Employees are not able to give customers any iPhones until the 7am opening Friday morning. We cannot verify if this is what Verizon is also doing.
