RCN/Astound Broadband Service sends email about “Sun Spots”
RCN/Astound Broadband has sent an email to customers about a possible interruption of service due to “Sun Outage.”

The email reads:
Between February 27th and March 9th, 2022, you may experience brief, unavoidable interruptions to your TV services due to sun outages.
These sun outages are expected to occur between 10:30am and 5:30pm and last only a short time – from 5 minutes, up to 15 minutes.
This could also effect other services such as smartphones and radio communications. This interruptions should be temporary and is a natural occurrence each year.
