More content downloading, more video streaming, more apps. Connecting with family and friends 24-7. Mobile broadband has become part of our daily lives – and data usage has skyrocketed.

And as the AT&T network gets even faster with 4G LTE deployment – up to 10 times faster than 3G – and devices and applications become even more sophisticated, it’s clear that data usage will surge even more.

Taking all of this into account – and our ongoing commitment to deliver value to our customers – we’re launching new smartphone and tablet data plans on Sunday, Jan. 22. The new plans give customers more data for more value. You can read about the plans here. Existing customers will be able to keep their current plans but can also choose from one of the new plans.

Importantly, we’re going to continue our efforts to help customers manage their data usage.

First, we’ll keep customers up to date on their monthly data usage with regular usage alerts. As customers consume data within their plan, we’ll send them an alert to help them stay on top of things. Our website –www.att.com/dataplans – also offers helpful tools, including a data calculator, so customers can estimate usage for their typical data activity.

A great way to stay within your plan is to use Wi-Fi when it’s available. Keeping Wi-Fi turned on means that when you’re connected to a hot spot, your data activity won’t count against your monthly data plan.

Even better, our data plans for smartphone and tablet customers include unlimited access to AT&T’s entire Wi-Fi network – the nation’s largest with 29,000 hotspots – at no extra charge.

You can find more information atwww.att.com/dataplans. Our new plans will be reflected on this site beginning on Sunday.
