Normally, when someone turns on their Mac, a boot up process begins where one sees the familiar Apple logo and a progress bar before the user sees the login screen or desktop.

With the latest beta, this process has changed.  Turning on the Mac now lets a user see the login screen faster then ever before.  When he/she enters their password, the user then sees a progress bar before going into their desktop.
