Original iPad Mini from 2012 now classified as “vintage” by Apple

Last week, Apple declared the original 2012 iPad Mini as “vintage”, which means that the said iPad model is no longer supported by the company.  Persons that have the hardware will no longer be able to obtain support or repairs for the iPad.
