It looks like Microsoft is backing off plans to intergrade its newest Metro interface in to Windows. It seems that the company is getting complaints from business customers about its Metro interface and is planning a “boot-to-desktop” feature in its planned update to Windows 8. This, according to several sources who are familiar with the matter.
According to Windows 8.1 beta testers, the said feature is already showing up in its latest beta build. The new version is scheduled to be available later this year.
