Mac Pros now unavailable for purchase in European Apple Online Stores
What was to be scheduled for March 1st, it seems that Apple has taken early steps and has discontinued taking orders for their Mac Pro model in the European marketplace. This is due to new regulatory requirements that go into effect on the said date.

The Mac Pro is no longer able to be sold in Europe because it is not compliant with Amendment 1 of regulation IEC 60950–1. According to information from Apple, the issue has to do with the Mac Pro’s unprotected fan blades. Compliance with the new regulation would require fan guards and increased protection of the ports on the electrical system.

Yes, I do get a lot of Spam comments all the time. I haven’t found any add-ons to help either other then putting the web site on WordPress.com where they seem to help in minimizing the spam that one gets. But I did that for years, and finally ended up going “on my own” because WordPress.com limited you on what ad banners could go on to your site.
