When I first got my Apple Watch, I was noticing that the device would run out of battery power quicker then my other iOS devices. After time with it, I noticed that with the Wrist Detection feature turned on, the watch would come on even when I didn’t raise my wrist. I then disabled this feature, and the watch seemed to stay charged longer so I could get a longer battery life.
Here’s how to disable Wrist Detection:
1. Go in to the watch app on the iPhone.
2. Select General > Wrist Detection.
3. Scroll to the Wrist Detection option, and Toggle it OFF.
This may or may not help you. But it’s worth a shot.
