The Biden Administration is considering banning the popular social media platform, TikTok.

The reasons are concerning who is running the social media platform, and how user’s information is being saved and used by the Chinese Government.  Major Fortune 500 companies and Government agencies as well as some “mom and pop businesses” have banned the social media platform from their devices and internal networks.

The Trump Administration also raised security concerns, but plans to ban the social media platform were dropped after pushback from its current users.  Now, the Biden Administration has picked up the topic yet again, and this time it looks like something maybe done unless the platform sells all or part of its platform to a U.S. based company – which is highly unlikely.

So if you’re on TikTok, and are generating income from it it would be a good idea for you to either have a backup plan or get off the social media platform altogether as it could be banned in just days, weeks, or even months.
