I’ve been using an Apple Watch since Series 1. I got a series 4 for Christmas last year, and up until recently, I’ve had no problems with any allergic reactions to any of the watch bands.

So it was a surprise when I started to get an itchy sore on my wrist.  After treating it and have it not go away, I suspected that it had something to do with the watch band.

After asking around on various support boards, I realized that it was the watch band.

Even though I got several suggestions on alternative watch bands, I decided to get the SPORTS BAND LOOP directly from Apple.  According to the information:

Soft, breathable, and lightweight, the Sport Loop features a hook-and-loop fastener for quick and easy adjustment. The double-layer nylon weave has dense loops on the skin side that provide soft cushioning while allowing moisture to escape. On the reverse side, the attachment loops are securely anchored for superior durability.

I have had this for a few days and I can already feel the difference. As the information says, it’s soft and doesn’t irritate the sore at all.
