Yesterday, we mentioned the iPhone 14 calling 9-1-1 during a rollercoaster ride due to the “G-Forces” the device senses and thinks you’ve been in a car crash.

If you want to turn off this feature (not recommended!) here’s how:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Scroll down, select “Emergency SOS”
  3. Scroll down to “Crash Detection”
  4. Toggle “Call After Severe Crash” off
  5. A warning will appear telling the user that the feature will be disabled
  6. That’s it.

Again, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS, but it’s nice to know how it can be done.
