We all know how to share a portable hotspot with other mobile devices, but what about your Mac?

Here’s how:

  1. On the Mac, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
  2. In the right panel are a list of available WiFi and nearby networks.
  3. If the hotspot sharing is enabled, it’ll show the name of the device with two “chain links” next to the name.
  4. Click it.
  5. After a few seconds, it should connect.  If not, contact your cellular provider.
  6. That’s it.
