Some iOS 16 users are reporting that their home screen sometimes show a black screen instead of their photo. This problem is an easy fix and can be done by doing the below:

  1. Go to the Settings app on iPhone or iPad
  2. Go to Wallpaper
  3. Select “Choose a New Wallpaper” and select the photo or image you want to use as your wallpaper
  4. Exit out of Settings.
  5. That’s it.
