Here’s how:

  1. Open Safari or another app that supports PiP.
  2. Open a window containing a video.
  3. In the video playback controls, click the PiP button (it looks like a small opaque square, and an arrow within a larger transparent square behind it).
  4. If you don’t see it, right-click inside the video.
  5. A pop-up menu appears.
  6. Choose Enter Picture-in-Picture (if available).
  7. You can move the window to any corner of the screen.
  8. When you’re finished, click the circled X icon in the lower corner.
  9. The window becomes full screen.
  10. That’s it.
