Type to Siri is an iOS feature that lets you type a question to Siri instead if speaking to it. You can do the same thing with the Mac.

Here’s how:

  1. In order for this to work, you must enable it in System Settings > Apple Intelligence > Siri Requests.
  2. You can assign your own keyboard shortcut to enable Siri.   I use “Press Left Command Key Twice.”
  3. When that’s enabled, click OK
  4. Now press the key combination to bring up Type to Siri in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  5. That’s it.
