How to use Apple Pay on the Web
For those of us who have used Apple Pay ‘in the real world’, we know how convenient it is for a fast and accurate checkout experience. Now with the release of MacOS Sierra, that convince has now come to selected web sites.

In order for Apple Pay to work, you need the following:
- A Mac that runs MacOS Sierra.
- An iOS device that is able to run iOS 10.
Now make sure you have Apple Wallet setup with any credit card(s) that you may want to use with Apple Pay. If you don’t please read this official document.
Using Apple Pay from the iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch:
- Make sure that you’re signed in to the same iCloud account on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch.
- Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on both your Mac and the other device.
- Tap the Buy with Apple Pay or Apple Pay button.
- Check your billing, shipping, and contact information to make sure that they’re correct.
- To pay with a different card instead of your default card.
- Click next to your default card and select the card you want to use.
- You can choose credit and debit cards from any iPhone or Apple Watch that is nearby.
- If you need to, enter your billing, shipping, and contact information.
- Apple Pay will store that information on your iPhone, so you won’t need to enter it again.
- When you’re ready, make your purchase.
- On your iPhone, place your finger on Touch ID or double-click the side button on your Apple Watch.
- After your payment information sends successfully, you’ll see Done and a checkmark on the screen.
- That’s it!
