How to Uninstall Apps on MacOS Sonoma & Ventura via System Settings

Uninstalling and removing apps on any computer is a necessary task that end users will eventually do.  But doing so is an easy and straightforward task on a Mac.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to System Settings.
  2. Select General.
  3. Select Storage.
  4. Wait for the ‘Applications’ section to appear.
  5. Click on the app you wish to uninstall.
  6. At the bottom-right of the window, click DELETE.
  7. Confirm you wish to DELETE the app.
  8. If asked, type in the Administrator’s Password.
  9. To uninstall other apps, repeat the steps above.
  10. That’s it. 

By doing the above, you’ll be able to reclaim a lot of disk space for new apps or data.
