The Finder is a go to window for most Mac users. It contains the most important areas on your Mac, such as Applications, Documents, Music, Pictures, and so on.
Opening the Finder will take you to a default folder, such as Applications. But what if you want a different folder to show?
Here’s how to change it:
- Open Finder.
- In the upper-left corner, click Finder > Settings.
- This will open a tiny window on the Desktop.
- Search for a drop-down window that says “Finder window will show“.
- Select the Folder you wish to show when you open Finder.
- That’s it.
