A Mac or even a Windows user knows how to drag and drop individual files into a folder.  But what if you had to drag and drop multiple files into another folder?

Here’s how:

  1. Open a Finder window.
  2. Now select File > New Window.
  3. Another Finder window opens.
  4. Now go to the original Finder window.
  5. Go to the Folder with the files you wish to move.
  6. Click on the first file.
  7. Now go to the last file.
  8. Press the [SHIFT] key and then click on the last file.
  9. All of the files are highlighted.
  10. Drag and drop those files to the other window.
  11. The files copy over.
  12. That’s it.
