How to: See what apps are running via Terminal

Ever wish you could see what apps are taking up memory or if you’ve quit an app and its REALLY gone?

Well, if you use the Terminal (Finder > Applications > Utilities > Terminal) you can find that out and more.  Just go into Terminal, and at the prompt, type:

top

Then you’ll see a screen that’s similar to the one above.
