Anyone that uses the app sees the default name of HOME within the app to give the first section a default name. But what if you wish to rename this to something else?

Here’s how:

  1. Open the Home App as normal.
  2. Choose the (…) three dot menu in the upper right corner.
  3. Choose “Home Settings”.
  4. Enter a custom name for the section.
  5. When finished, tap DONE.
  6. That’s it.

Renaming a section within the Home app can help get to an area that you need more quickly.
