Most of the time, a Mouse “just works” with Macs.  But sometimes you may have to manually set one up for special features.

Here’s how:

  1. Make sure your new Mouse is turned ON and is in Pairing Mode.
  2. Go to  Apple menu > System Settings > Bluetooth.
  3. Make sure Bluetooth is turned ON on the Mac.
  4. When the Mac finds the Mouse, it’ll show a Connect button.
  5. Click it.
  6. It may take a minute, but the new Mouse should show up in the list of devices.
  7. If you need too, you can change the settings of the new Mouse in this section.
  8. That’s it.
