How to Pair an Apple TV Remote
The Apple TV comes with a remote that should already be paired. But incase it isn’t or you have to replace the remote for one reason or another, here’s how.

- Plug in the remote to an USB or an USB-C charging wire.
- Make sure the Apple TV is tuned on.
- Point your remote at your Apple TV.
- Make sure that the remote is about three inches away from the Apple TV.
- Press and hold Back (or Menu) and Volume Up. for five seconds.
- If asked, place your remote on top of Apple TV to complete pairing.
- That’s it.
You shouldn’t have to re-pair the remote after the above steps. But if you do, just do the above again.
