Now that the Gold Master (GM) or the Release Candidate (RC) version of Xcode is out, here’s how to install it on your Mac.
- Go to https://developer.apple.com and login with your developer account.
- Scroll all the way down until you see “Get the latest tools and SDK” and click on it.
- At the top of the screen, select Applications.
- Find the GM (or RC) version of Xcode.
- Click on the included link.
- Xcode will begin downloading to your Mac.
- When it’s finished, double click on the XIP file.
- The file will open.
- Drag and Drop the Xcode icon in the Finder > Applications Folder.
- That’s it.
