How to install a WordPress Plugin

WordPress has thousands of plugins (add-ons) to help enhance your site.  Finding and installing one or more is easy.  There are two ways to do it.  This article will cover the easiest way.

Here’s how:

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
2. On the right side, find the Plugins option and click it.
3. It’ll take you to the list of Plugins you currently have running (or disabled).
4. If you’re trying to find a plugin, click the Add New Plugin button.
5. You’ll bet taken to a library of plugins.
6. When you find one, make sure it’s compatible with your version of WordPress.
7. Click the install button, and then click Activate to activate the plug-in on the site.
8. The plugin is now available.
9. That’s it.
