How to get Siri to Pronounce Names Correctly in iOS 15

Sometimes, Siri has a problem with pronouncing names correctly (such as my last name).  If the name is in your Contacts, you can teach Siri the correct way to say it.

Here’s how:

1. Open Contacts as normal.
2. Select the contact you wish to add a phonetic guide for
3. Scroll down, then tap Add Field
4. Tap Phonetic first, middle or last name
5. In the Phonetic Name enter in a phonetic spelling of your contact’s chosen name
6. Tap Done
7. That’s it.

Now when that contact calls or you ask Siri to call that contact, it will pronounce the name correctly.
