But what if you wanted to export one or more photos into another app that does not support drag and drop?  You must EXPORT that photo to your desktop and then import it into a project. This tip will show you how to export a photo (or photos) to your desktop.

How to export a photo to your Desktop:

  1. Go into Photos.
  2. Select a photo that you wish to export.
  3. Select File > Export.
  4. Another window opens asking you what format you wish to export the photo in.
  5. Another window opens asking where to SAVE the exported photo.
  6. When ready, click OK to export and save it to the Folder of your choice.
  7. That’s it. 

Bonus Tip:

To select multiple photos, click on the first photo, hold the [Shift] key, and then click on each photo you wish to export.
