Macs “just work” most of the time. But for one reason or another, you would like to run its Disk Recovery Mode to do a factory reset.  Although this how to won’t show you all of the steps to do  a factory reset, we can show you how to get there.

Just do the following steps:

  1. Turn on or reset your Mac and hold down the power button in until you see the message “Loading Startup Options“.
  2. The Recovery Mode option should load as normal.
  3. Thats it.
