How to enable “Sticky Keys” on Mac
For those of us who can only use one key at a time, a little known accessibility feature on Macs called “Sticky Keys” can help. It allows a user to press one key at a time to enable a function (for example, [Command + P] to print).

Here’s how:
- Go to > System Preferences > Accessibility.
- Select Keyboard.
- Click the Hardware Tab.
- Put a checkmark next to the Enable Sticky Keys option.
- Now click the Options button.
- These are additional options that you can set to enable (or disable) options for Sticky Keys.
- Click OK to save the option(s).
- That’s it.
Now, let’s try it.
- Press the [Shift] key five times.
- You’ll hear a “Click” sound.
- The option’s enabled.
- Press the [Command] key, let go, now press the [P] key and let go.
- The print window will come up.
