How to Clear the Screen when in Terminal | CompuScoop.com

When working on the Terminal window in Mac, Linux, and Unix, sometimes their’s so much information on the screen that you’d like to clear it and start over.  Well, there is simple way to do it.

When at a blank Linux or Unix prompt, just type: clear

That will clear the screen and make the prompt appear in the upper-left corner of the screen.
