How to change the View of the Finder | CompuScoop.com

As a Mac user. you’ll find yourself using the Finder quite often.  So it is important that you can change it so you can find app(s) or file(s) as quickly as you can.

It has 4 ways to view documents and/or files:

  • Icon – Each directory or file will appear as an icon.
  • List – Each directory or file will appear in a List..
  • Columns – Each directory or file will appear in Columns (as shown in the example).
  • Gallery – Each directory or file will appear as a mini photo gallery.

Here’s how to change the view:

  1. Click on the icon that’s shown in the photo above (above RED Arrow).
  2. A list comes down with the 4 options described above.
  3. Choose an option.
  4. That’s it.

This will work in the newest version of MacOS.
