iOS 18: How to Cancel Ongoing App Downloads and Installation on an iPhone or iPad

The iOS App Store is the best way to buy and install apps on your iOS device.  But what if you’re downloading an app and have to cancel the download and installation of an app.?

Do the following:

1. Locate the app that is downloading on the Home Screen of the iOS Device.
2. Tap and hold on the app icon that is downloading until a dropdown menu appears.
3. Choose “Cancel Download” to stop the app download.
4. That’s it.
