How to, and what is “God Mode” in Windows 11
While we know about the Settings app in Windows 11 which is the normal way of change the Settings, if you want a more advanced version of the Settings app, then there is a secret settings option that also brings back some of the old Control Panel settings from previous versions of Windows called God Mode.

Although the name sounds more ominous than what it actually is, it is a special desktop folder that enables you to gain access to the system settings directly from the Desktop and use some old school settings from previous versions of Windows.
How to enable this feature:
- Create a new folder on the Desktop.
- Name it: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
- Press [Enter].
- Once you press Enter, the name will disappear and the icon should change into a Control Panel icon.
- You can now open the folder and access the settings inside.
- That’s it.
