Adding funds is easy.  Here’s what to do:

  1. Go onto the Mac App Store from a Mac.
  2. If need be, login with your username and password.
  3. In the lower-left of that window, click your name.
  4. In the upper-right corner, click on View Information.
  5. You may have to login again.  Please do so.
  6. Find and then click on Add Funds to your Apple ID.
  7. Another window will pop up showing a current balance (if available).
  8. Select the amount that you wish to add, or enter your own then click the BUY button.
  9. You may have to do step #5 one more time – go ahead and do so.
  10. That’s it.

The entered amount will be credited to your Apple ID from the funding source that you’ve selected and will be available indefinitely, or until you cancel your Apple ID Account.
