How to add an [ESC] key to an iPad External Keyboard:
- Go to Settings > General and the choose Keyboard.
- Go to “Hardware Keyboard”.
- Choose “Modifier Keys”.
- Choose “Caps Lock Key” and select “Escape” as the modifier key.
- Thats it.
You can also remap other keys with the above and it works with all iPad models.
