Like you, I have relied on the canvas when working with a project that may include a ListView or a screen of text. So, after doing ob-teen searches, I finally found an answer, which I hope is a temporary one.
What to do:
- While in a SwiftUI Project.
- Select Editor > Canvas.
- Uncheck the Automatically Refresh Canvas option.
- That’s it.
