Getting ready for Friday's iPhone pre-orders
With hours to go before Apple will begin accepting orders for the new iPhone 4S, we thought it would be a good idea to give you some tips on how to make sure you get in ‘line’ and get yours.

This is what we know so far:
– Pre-orders are being taken at Apple.com.
– Pre-ordering begins at 12am Pacific Time (3am Eastern).
– You’ll need your cell phone telephone number handy.
– Your credit card.
– Name, address, and other information to send the iPhone to.
– The phone should be activated when you receive it.
– With the new iOS5, you should not have to activate the phone via iTunes.
Depending on web site traffic (and from past experiences) the ordering process should take anywhere from 15 – 30 minutes. It is known that the iPhone could sell out in minutes, so make sure you get online early and be ready.
For those of you who will be up at 3am Eastern Time – good luck 🙂
