Disney’s high-concept Star Wars hotel finally has an opening day. According to the official blog, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will open at Walt Disney World some time in 2021 with a two-day cruise-like itinerary. Cabins for five start at $3,300.

Galactic Starcruiser is being built literally across the street from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the new 14-acre land in Orlando, Florida. Not only will Galactic Starcruiser be a singular facility, it will also be a first-of-its-kind experience. Guests should expect a “24/7” storytelling experience with more in common with Westworld than a traditional hotel stay.
There are currently no plans to add a similar facility at Galaxy’s Edge in Anaheim, California.
