Aidan Glynn, who lives in Marshfield with his parents and two brothers, has a nonverbal form of autism and uses an iPad with a special software to tell his family what he wants to do, eat or say. He was at the Martinson school playground with Kim Bouressa, a close family friend of the Glynn’s, about 5 p.m. Wednesday when the iPad was stolen.

Bouressa reported the theft to police that night, then took to Facebook to ask Marshfield residents to keep an eye out, and started a GoFundMe to replace the device. The fundraising campaign quickly raised the $650 needed to buy a new iPad.
