AppleTV1stGenReports have come in, as well as shown up on Apple’s discussion boards, that users of the company’s 1st generation Apple TV have been unable to connect to iTunes for the past few days.

Says one user:

As of last night I had full access to the iTunes Store. Since this morning I was getting an Itunes Store Not Available message, and after unplugging the AppleTv the iTunes Store access completly disappeared except for movie trailers.”

As of this writing, Apple has not given any official word about the problem.
