Now that the flames have gone from The Notre-Dame Cathedral, countries around the word are pledging on providing support to help rebuild the over 800 year old church.
Early Tuesday, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, sent out a tweet pledging that his company will be pledging monies to help rebuild the damaged church.
Companies had already started pledging money to help rebuild the cathedral. More than $600 million has been pledged from companies including L’Oréal and from people such as LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, who is the richest person in France and the third-richest person in the world.
It’s unclear how much Apple plans to donate to assist in the rebuilding efforts at the time that this article was written.
