Apple discontinues the 16GB Fifth-Generation iPod touch

As of 9/10/2021, Apple has discontinued production of their iPod touch, 5th Generation 16GB Model.  You can still get them while supplies last, but don’t expect any iOS updates beyond the current hardware configuration.
