How to install the Gold Master or RC of Xcode

Now that the Gold Master (GM) or the Release Candidate (RC) version of Xcode is out, here's how to install it on your Mac.

Go to https://developer.apple.com and login with your developer account.
Scroll all the way down until you see "Get the latest tools and SDK" and click on it.
At the top of the screen, select Applications.
Find the GM (or RC) version of Xcode.
Click on the included link.
Xcode will begin downloading to your Mac.
When it's finished, double click on the XIP file.
The file will open.
Drag and Drop the Xcode icon in the Finder > Applications Folder.
That's it.

How to remove Xcode Beta from Mac

Now that the Gold Master (GM) version of Xcode is out, you probably want to remove the Xcode-Beta from your Mac.

Here's how:

Locate the Xcode-Beta in Finder > Applications.
Click on the icon, and drag it to the Trash Bin.
Empty the Trash (right on the Trash icon, then right click and then select Empty Trash).
It may take sometime for the Trash to completely empty.
That's it.

Now that Apple Intelligence has officially been announced, we’re thrilled to share what we’ve been working on this past summer.

You’ll be seeing some exciting new article formats and features. For instance, some articles will feature a summary area at the top, written by Apple Intelligence (although the actual articles will still be crafted by human writers!).
